Fujian to ASEAN trade appears to increase the import and export of strong private foreign share

As China-ASEAN free trade area of the officially completed, Fujian and ASEAN bilateral trade is showing a strong growth momentum. Fuzhou Customs 24, disclosure, prior to the seven months this year, total trade Fujian to ASEAN 70.5 million, an increase of 53.7%.

According to statistics, before July, Fujian to ASEAN import 25.3 billion, an increase of 52.2%; exports 45.2 billion, an increase of 54.5%.

From statistics, private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises and export market. Before July, Fujian private enterprise for ASEAN 29 billion, an increase of export and import 69.9 per cent over the same period of Fujian to ASEAN trade 41.1% of total imports and exports of foreign invested enterprises; 28.3 million growth 51.7% 40.2%. In addition, the State-owned enterprises and export 12.5 billion, an increase of 27.9% 17.8%.

Before July, mechanical and electrical products, agricultural products, clothing, footwear, Fujian province exports to ASEAN's key product was prominent, mechanical and electrical products only will export 16.1 billion, an increase of 32.8%; while ASEAN import of machinery and electronic products in Fujian province, high-tech products, agricultural products, and other major product growth momentum.

Fuzhou customs officials pointed out that China-ASEAN free trade area starts, reliance on further deepening of both sides, economic relations are closer, but Chinese enterprises "going out" a late starter, overseas investment and lack of experience with transnational management experience a lack of relevant talent, short term investments of the ASEAN market still more difficult.

To this end, Fuzhou customs recommends that Government departments to strengthen enterprises to open up the ASEAN market guidance, positive adjustment of industrial structure, increase the intensity of transformation and upgrading, enhancing awareness of the certificate of origin, and ASEAN trade costs and to pay close attention to the political and economic trends in ASEAN, sound bilateral contact dialogue mechanisms for mutual trade to create a good environment.
