Department of Commerce today published the Chinese foreign trade situation report (2010 autumn) (hereinafter the "report"), recalled the 2010 the first three quarters of our foreign trade operations, analyses the characteristics of China's foreign trade operations, on China's foreign trade situation for the year 2010 is forecast, and prospects of our country's foreign trade situation in 2011.
Analysis of the report, this year, the world economy continues to slow recovery in the domestic economy continues rapid growth, stability and expansion of export, import policy effects continue to emerge, further enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises. In the interaction of these factors, the first three quarters of our foreign trade show restorative faster growth, expanding market effectiveness obvious structure steadily, promoting balanced progress smoothly, both the import and export size has exceeded the same period in 2008, overall better than expected at the beginning.
The report considers that, at present, the world economy in General is still in the recovery of the channel, the domestic economy continues to move towards macroeconomic regulation and control of the expected direction, to further consolidate good momentum in China this year, after several months of foreign trade continues to grow to create a good environment. But the momentum for economic recovery in the world has been a significant slowdown in external demand growth with limited space, combined with the appreciation of the Renminbi pressure increase, our enterprise production and management of pressure rise and other adverse factors, it is expected that this year the four quarterly foreign trade continues to grow, but the year-over-year growth rate will continue to fall. Annual import and export about 2.8 trillion, a growth of 25%.
The report pointed out that, next year China external trade development had not less favourable conditions, but external factors of uncertainty still more, economic factors and non-economic factors intertwined, the domestic factor cost is continuing to rise, businesses operating pressure increases, the situation of foreign trade is not optimistic. Expected 2011 China's foreign trade will continue to maintain growth, but growth may decline.
