2009-2010 annual list of "China manufacturing strength — the industry's international competitiveness index," issued in Beijing recently. Index shows that the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry along the way, but the primary product of international competitiveness has gone from bad to worse.
The index is determined by the Chinese customs "magazine under customs statistics, global trade information system (GTA) data and other relevant data. According to the published results, 2009 in China's national industry 45 secondary industry, 23 industry's international competitiveness than the world average, of which 21 industry is manufacturing. Furniture manufacturing, leather, furs, down and related products industry, culture and sports goods industry, textile industry, communications equipment, computers and other electronic equipment manufacturing and metal products stand out, become China's most competitive industries. But at the same time, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries and mining industry's international competitiveness index respectively 99.26 and 99.09, are below the international average, China's foreign trade competitiveness "persistent pain."
Although the global financial crisis on China's foreign trade has had a great impact, but in 2009, China's national industry overall international competitiveness are a more substantial improvement, evaluation index reached 103.26, 2008 103.12 has markedly improved, close to the financial crisis of 2007 103.29. Of these, international market share, trade, competition index and export growth advantage index three sub-items index have increased compared to 2007. Experts say that the promotion of competitiveness indicators ultimately contributes to our overall foreign trade this year for the better.
