Department of Commerce Minister Chen Deming 21 November in Beijing, met with WTO Director General Pascal Lamy, the two sides on the Doha Round negotiations, an in-depth exchange of views. According to reports, in accordance with the results of the current negotiations, China will further the implementation of agricultural and industrial tariff reduction 30%. In the services sector, in 160 sub-sectors, when joining the WTO is open 100 sub-sectors, China has promised to further open up 11 sub-sectors.
Chen Deming said China's strong support for the Doha round's position will not change. In order to advance the next negotiations, WTO members should actively hold 2011 Doha negotiations of the "window of opportunity" lock results to negotiate specific text-based breakthrough. In the next phase of negotiations, China will continue to support la promotion efforts in the Doha negotiations.
Lamy said the Doha negotiations start nearly nine years, to 2011 is still not a Protocol, on the credibility of the WTO will be a heavy blow. Therefore, it is hoped that all members work together to promote negotiations substantive progress, and through the g-20 Summit to issue a positive Seoul signal, to the Doha negotiations to provide more political support.

As of 2010, China's accession to the WTO commitment has been fully satisfied, established in compliance with the rules of economic trading system, as one of the most open markets.
